Water-repellent labels on synthetic films
Water-resistant labels are generally printed on a substrate called polypropylene (PP). This is a polymeric substrate, otherwise known as a vinyl film label, which does not absorb water. This is how the repellent effect is achieved.
These water-resistant labels are used in certain bottling and logistics processes. These include bottle sterilization and bottling. They are also suitable for use in extreme environments and for protection against moisture.
Caution: Our labels are not designed to remain underwater for long periods or to be used in a salty marine environment.
Water and ink–What’s the link between the two?
We print all our labels digitally on HP Indigo series presses. This is a printing technology that uses water-resistant electric ink. Even when it comes into contact with water, the ink doesn’t fade and your label remains legible.

Express production
Our standard production time is five to seven working days. However, we know that companies sometimes need their personalized labels on a roll more quickly. For an additional charge, our express production guarantees production within 24 or 48 hours (plus shipping time). The prerequisite is that we have all the necessary tools and materials in-house to manufacture your labels, and that your graphic files are already printable and error-free. Please note that we reserve the right to temporarily suspend express production in the event of a heavy workload. Find out more about our express production service.
Test print
Do you need a proof print to validate the rendering before placing your label order? We offer a range of proofing service packages. Artwork service
Graphic files are an important part of the label printing process. Companies that don’t have their own graphic designers or agencies can call on our artwork service. Choose between our Standard or Premium packages. Depending on the package, we check your print files to detect and correct technical errors.
