Chemical labels in compliance with legal requirements

As a specialist label manufacturer, we know that labels for chemical products have to meet legal requirements: what materials are permitted or required, how they should be printed, or what adhesion requirements self-adhesive labels have to meet. In the field of chemical labels, we have been working for many years with numerous producers, large and small, who appreciate our services and place their trust in us. Whether it’s a large or small print run, we produce your GHS labels with care, at a reasonable price and always within the agreed delivery date. On request, we can also deliver your labels to your contract bottler.

GHS-compliant label printing

Since June 1, 2015, the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals, abbreviated GHS, has been in force. GHS is an international program set up by the United Nations. GHS standards were created to replace the regulations of individual countries and to ensure uniform labeling of hazardous substances. All producers, importers and suppliers of chemical mixtures and substances must adopt these standards. Find out more about GHS here.

For us, as a label manufacturer, this means, for example, that we supply GHS labels mainly as labels on polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE) film, printed with the corresponding identification, hazard and safety information. We can also print the prescribed GHS pictograms for you. Please note: We cannot guarantee the accuracy of your chemical labels! Please check before printing whether your label contains all the information required by the GHS or CLP regulations.

Roll labels in polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE)

Labels for chemical products have to withstand particular stresses in order to adhere as long as possible and be clearly legible. The labels must not be interfered with or destroyed by the chemicals, so that you and your customers can check at any time which contents are in the relevant container. We print labels on rolls, self-adhesive labels and vinyl labels in polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) that meet all requirements for labels for hazardous substances.

Order your labels online–Save time and money

As a manufacturer or contract packager of chemical products, you know that packaging is subject to particularly strict rules to ensure user safety at all times. This doesn’t just mean that the substrate must withstand the stresses imposed by the contents. Label printing must also comply with legal requirements. Chemical labels are generally labels for hazardous substances. That’s why you can’t compromise on quality. We print on durable vinyl labels exactly the way you want them.

Since you can place your order with us entirely online, you save time and money. As a professional label manufacturer, we can assist you with your chemical label project by telephone on +33(0)4 81 68 19 73, or by e-mail at info@labelletiquette.fr.
