What are self-adhesive roll labels?
Roll labels are–as the name suggests–self-adhesive labels supplied in roll form. This means they can be applied both by machine and by hand, for simple, trouble-free further processing. You can freely choose the winding direction of your labels, and you can also choose between different roll core diameters: 76 mm, 40 mm and 25 mm.
Adhesive labels are often referred to as stickers, adhesive labels on rolls, labels on rolls, self-adhesive labels or bottle labels. Whether you call them self-adhesive labels or adhesive labels, we’re your partner for printing and finishing!
Where and how are roll-fed self-adhesive labels used?
In principle, self-adhesive labels are universally applicable. They are used for labeling bottles, jars, cans, packaging and other containers in a wide variety of industrial sectors, including the food, chemical, beverage and cosmetics industries. These printed labels are as flexible as the product to which they are applied: Adhesive labels simply look good everywhere.
The further processing of self-adhesive labels on rolls depends on the conditions of the product concerned. Self-adhesive labels printed on rolls – in short, labels on rolls – can be processed both mechanically and by hand. As a label manufacturer, we ensure that your roll labels are correctly wound. And for urgent orders, we’ll produce your self-adhesive labels in express production within 48 hours.

What shapes can be made with labels?
There are virtually no limits to the imagination when it comes to printing and finishing self-adhesive labels. Whether you want simple, monochrome labels for front or back, four-color process printing (CMYK) or special colors, including metallic tones – at labelletiquette.fr, the choice is yours. On request, we can finish your self-adhesive labels with hot foil stamping, laminating or protective varnish, in matt or gloss. We print to the highest quality – no inkjet or flexo!
Roll labels are available in every conceivable shape and size. In addition to standard shapes such as square, round or oval, you can also create your own customized shapes and designs.

What colors can be printed on self-adhesive labels on rolls?
For printing, we work with the colors Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black, abbreviated CMYK. You can also choose an opaque white. You can also specify a special Pantone® color for special effects. If you specify the Pantone® color, it will be simulated as closely as possible. Depending on the hue, Orange, Violet and Green can also be used to reproduce the original hue as closely as possible. Please note that, as a general rule, there is no 1:1 correspondence and that not all colors can be simulated by digital printing (e.g. metallic tones or fluorescent colors). If you prefer not to use color at all, we can of course also produce blank labels for you.
Finishes – How to add value to your labels
We finish your self-adhesive labels to your specifications. Your self-adhesive labels are also available with hot foil stamping in gold, silver and many other colors, with laminating or with a protective varnish. Self-adhesive labels on rolls with hot foil stamping are of particularly high quality, thanks to their brilliance and intensity of color. With laminating, self-adhesive labels are covered with a special protective laminate that can be applied in gloss or matte. Compared with protective varnish, laminating is thicker and more resistant. Normal protective varnish acts as a protective layer on the label, preventing color fading. You can find out more about the finishing options for your self-adhesive labels on our website. Print files
Professional print files that meet our requirements are generated by graphics programs such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign or ArtPro. For more information, please see our special page on file preparation. As we only use graphic formats, please do not send us Word files, for example. The preferred file format is PDF.
