How does the online calculator work?

Label quantities and versions

In the ‘Total quantity’ field, enter the complete quantity required to print your labels. If you have different label versions (references, flavors, variants, designs, etc.) we can print them all in a single production run. For us to be able to print all your versions in a single production run, and thus minimize costs for you, these versions must have the same size, shape, backing and finish, while the design can be completely different. You can then allocate label quantities per version according to your needs. When you place your order, you’ll be asked to upload your file and choose the number of labels to be printed per version.

Example:
Total quantity: 4000 labels
Number of versions: 3

Label allocation:
2000 labels : Original
1000 labels : Flavor #1
1000 labels : Flavor #2

Label size and shape

To put it simply, we can print almost any size and shape of personalized label: labelletiquette.fr your 100% custom printer!

In the calculator, simply enter the required dimensions and the desired shape. Round and rectangular labels are the most common, but you can also have a customized shape for your label. The price varies according to whether you choose a standard or custom shape for your labels, as we include in the price the purchase of a custom cutting tool for your label in the case of a custom shape.

Please note that for our rectangular labels we can offer standard shapes with rounded edges. The rounded edges must have a radius of 0.5mm, otherwise it will be a custom shape.

Colors

CMYK printing – 4 colors: Your roll labels are printed digitally. The digital label printing process uses the CMYK color mode (4 colors: cyan, magenta, yellow, black).

Regardless of the number of colors used on your label, the printing process used will be CMYK, because this mode produces every conceivable color by mixing the percentages of each color cyan, magenta, yellow and black.

To put it simply: If your label has a color other than black, you must select “four colors – CMYK” in the calculator.

Opaque white: Opaque white ink is a special ink used for printing on transparent and metallic materials. This backing white is used to print elements that need to be white on your design, but it can also be used as a “base” for printing colored images or text. On a metallized or transparent label, if you don’t apply backing white under certain elements of your design, the print will be translucent.

Preparing print files

Express delivery and production

Standard production :

Our standard production times are 6 to 8 working days. However, like any company, we can experience peaks in activity, which is why we display production times in real time on our calculator. You’ll find this information just below the price displayed for your labels.

Production Express :

Roller configuration and next steps

Will your labels be applied by machine? If so, it’s important to provide us with the following information: the desired winding direction for your labels on rolls, the center diameter of your reel and the maximum total diameter of your roll. All this information will be requested when you place your order.
