High opacity
Opaque labels are ideal for correcting a mistake, covering an incorrect barcode or altering a price. In technical terms, opacity is the opposite of transparency, i.e. a low level of transparency.
Standard self-adhesive labels on rolls are not suitable for such applications, as they are generally too transparent, leaving the product or existing label visible underneath.
Opaque self-adhesive labels, on the other hand, are 100% opaque and the adhesive is permanent. The reverse side of opaque labels is coated with a special dark color so that no content can show through. The new labels can be stuck onto colored backgrounds, images and text.
No design restrictions
We can produce your opaque labels on either black-backed paper or metallic-backed vinyl film. The finish can be either matte or glossy, and a hot foil finish can also be added to embellish your label. You’re also free to choose the core size required for your label, the maximum diameter of each roll, and the color and shape of your labels. Whether black, white, red, purple, square, round or customized–there are virtually no restrictions on the design of your opaque labels.
