Different adhesives for different applications
Label requirements can vary widely, depending on the industry and the product being marketed. In this context, it’s not just the choice of substrate that’s decisive, but also the choice of adhesive. At labelletiquette.fr, you have a choice of different adhesives. Choose from permanent adhesives, water-soluble adhesives, repositionable adhesives and special adhesives for frozen foods.
For every application and every product, labelletiquette.fr has the right adhesive for your project.

Note: Not all adhesives are systematically available with all our materials. Special adhesives are only available in combination with some of our substrates.
Note: if you store your labels under the right conditions, i.e. in a dry place away from UV rays, the adhesive will retain its effectiveness for around a year. Please note that the adhesive strength decreases with storage time. We therefore recommend using the labels as soon as possible after receipt.

Permanent adhesive

Adhésif Plus–Humid conditions
- Special Adhesive Plus for humid conditions
- Fewer creases and bubbles on application
- Ideal for complex label shapes
- Reduces matrix breakage during processing
- Improves embossing
- Available materials:

Alkaline-soluble adhesive (WLA)
- Alkaline-dissolving adhesive
- Application temperature: 0°C to +50°C
- Ideal for labelling bottles and other reusable containers
- Available substrates:

White Matt Paper WLA 90g
Papier Vergé Blanc WLA 90g
Papier Vergé Extra Blanc WLA 90g
Papier Rustique Blanc WLA 90g
Note: Removability depends on other factors such as ink application, finishing level and storage. We therefore cannot guarantee easy label removal.
Reinforced adhesive
- High-adhesion permanent adhesive
- Application temperature: -20°C to +80°C
- Ideal for small and very rounded containers
- Available substrates:
Satin paper 80g – Reinforced adhesive
Wash-Off water-soluble adhesive
- Water-dissolving adhesive (temperature 65°C-80°C)
- Application temperature: -20°C bis +60°C
- Ideal for labelling bottles and other reusable containers
- Backing with water-soluble Wash-Off adhesive:
Transparent PP film 45µm – Wash-Off adhesive - PET film 45µm – Wash-Off adhesive
Freezer adhesive
- General-purpose permanent adhesive
- Application temperature: -40°C to +60°C
- Can be applied to already frozen products
- Ideal for use in cold environments, on damp surfaces or on frozen products
- Material with special freezer adhesive:
Glossy white paper 80 g – Special freezer adhesive
Repositionable adhesive
- Universal repositionable adhesive
- Application temperature: -20°C to +80°C
- Can be repositioned without leaving traces of adhesive on the material, even over long periods of time
- Available materials:
Satin paper 80g – Repositionable adhesive
Glossy white PP film 57 µm – Repositionable adhesive - Transparent PP film 57 µm – Repositionable adhesive

Choose one of our proofing service options. We will print your label under the same conditions as the final print run. This allows you to check the print result and make sure that your label or substrate is well-suited to your needs.
Artwork Service
Not sure if your print files are correct? Take a look at our artwork service and we will check your files, depending on the package you chose, to correct and prepare them for printing. Your labels will then look exactly as you want them to.
