Domaine Riberach

Heritage & Harmony. In the heart of the Pyrenean foothills, Domaine Riberach combines traditional viticulture with contemporary visions. From the rebirth of a former cooperative winery to an identity marked by the art of detail, the estate crafts organic wines. Discover the world, the cuvées and the labels that bring Riberach to life.

The story

Riberach is first and foremost the meeting of Jean Michel Mailloles, Patrick Rodrigues, Moritz Herzog, Luc Richard and more recently Guilhem Soulignac. The Riberach adventure began in 2006, with the association of men and ideas around a common project. In the Pyrenean foothills, these 5 men committed themselves to the production of quality, organic wines, which they wished to mature on site, in a place that reflected their image. It was by combining the talents of each that they were able to found Domaine Riberach. Over the last ten years, this fusion of skills and ideas from different backgrounds has enabled them to enrich and develop each other’s experience. What’s true for people is also true for wine, and it’s this “multiculti” alliance that can now be tasted in a glass.

What better way to make wine than in an old cellar? The village’s former wine cooperative cellar has been an industrial wasteland for 10 years. Karin and Luc rehabilitated it to house the Riberach wine cellars. Using the remaining space, they designed a contemporary, luxury hotel-restaurant inspired by their urban culture.

The design

“The snail is our logo in an idea of slowness as a cardinal value of craftsmanship: taking the time to do things right!”

The label

The material used for these superbly successful labels is Tintoretto Gesso 95 g Paper – Adhesive Plus (FSC® Mix Credit). Tintoretto Gesso is an uncoated, wood-free, matt white paper with excellent texture and a luxurious appearance. This substrate is designed for wine labeling and is suitable for the main labeling of premium products, such as spirits or specialty foods. This paper also has an ice-bucket-resistant adhesive, making it equally suitable for labeling champagne, for example.
