Which backing material should you use?
There are many factors to consider when choosing labels for your takeaway containers:

If you’d like your takeaway labels produced on a very specific substrate that you can’t find in our calculator or material guide, please contact us. On request, we can order certain substrates for you.
Our recommendation: For labels that will be in contact with food or drink and will be frequently touched, we recommend our PP film for its water-repellent and dirt-resistant qualities.
Laminating your takeaway labels
Film lamination is the process of placing an additional film over the printed label substrate. For example, we print your label design on a white polypropylene film and apply a lamination over it to create the final aesthetic. The lamination is applied to the entire label–no partial applications are possible–and protects your takeaway labels from abrasion.

Choose one of our proofing service options. We will print your label under the same conditions as the final print run. This allows you to check the print result and make sure that your label or substrate is well-suited to your needs.
Artwork Service
Not sure if your print files are correct? Take a look at our artwork service and we will check your files, depending on the package you chose, to correct and prepare them for printing. Your labels will then look exactly as you want them to.
