How does offset printing work?
But now to offset printing. This is an indirect flatbed printing process, based on the chemical repulsion of water and grease. The different properties of the surface ensure that the printing ink adheres only where it is needed. Areas that are not to be printed are wetted with water, so that they repel the grease-like ink. The different colors are printed progressively onto the label. Offset printing can be carried out on paper and plastic.
