Ecological action has taken on considerable importance in the B2B sector, especially in recent years. For us too, as a professional label manufacturer, sustainable management of nature’s resources is a matter of course. Our mission: sustainability
The main objective is to further reduce our ecological footprint. To this end, we have already made considerable efforts:
- We have converted our own fleet of vehicles to electric ones.
- Our own recharging stations also enable our employees to recharge their electric vehicles on company premises.
- As an online company, we are committed to paperless communication. We also send invoices digitally.
- For the packaging of your labels, the plastic filler has been replaced by 100% recycled paper.
- We use an efficient system to recover heat from the printing presses for heating. This saves around 80% of energy costs.
- Digital printing enables us to produce your labels with reduced CO2 emissions and without the use of printing plates. Long lead times and large quantities of smearing are a thing of the past.
- Marginal webs are vacuumed (Lundberg Tech system), chopped and reintroduced into the circuit for the production of a new substrate.
Durable substrates for your labels
labelletiquette.fr is responding to this demand, offering not only a wide range of FSC®-certified labels, but also particularly environmentally-friendly materials such as grass-based paper, biobased PE film, repositionable or water-soluble labels and recycled paper. Please note: Due to their unique characteristics, different batches of natural papers may vary slightly in color and texture. Due to the structure of the material, fine fonts and delicate elements may break. Solid printing may result in irregularities.
Sustainability is our driving force
What’s more, switching to green electricity was another logical step towards climate-friendly production: labelletiquette.fr sources 100% regional green electricity. To achieve this, we rely on our strong partnership with supplier SWT. With almost 600,000 kilowatt-hours/year, labelletiquette.fr is the largest purchaser of regional green electricity from the solar park on the IRT Föhren industrial estate. This enables us to pursue our sustainability strategy in an even more targeted way, and to further reduce the CO2 emissions of our production.
