Resource management and the continuous improvement of our production processes play an important role in our business. For us too, as a professional label manufacturer, this translates into concrete actions relating to energy, materials and waste. Our concrete actions
Our objective is to continue optimizing the use of resources and energy in our production. To this end, we have already implemented several measures:
- We have converted our own fleet of vehicles to electric ones.
- Our own recharging stations also enable our employees to recharge their electric vehicles on company premises.
- As an online company, we are committed to paperless communication. We also send invoices digitally.
- For the packaging of your labels, the plastic filler has been replaced by 100% recycled paper.ç
- We use an efficient system to recover heat from the printing presses for heating. This saves around 80% of energy costs.
- Digital printing enables us to produce your labels without using printing plates and to limit the amount of production waste generated during setup.
- Marginal webs are vacuumed (Lundberg Tech system), chopped and reintroduced into the circuit for the production of a new substrate.
Recycled, certified and plant-fiber-based materials for your labels
Customers are increasingly looking for a wider choice of materials with clearly identified environmental characteristics. labelletiquette.fr is responding to this demand, offering not only a wide range of FSC®-certified labels, but also different materials such as grass-based paper, biobased PE film, repositionable or water-soluble labels and recycled paper. Please note: Due to their unique characteristics, different batches of natural papers may vary slightly in color and texture. Due to the structure of the material, fine fonts and delicate elements may break. Solid printing may result in irregularities.
Production powered by electricity from renewable sources
Our production is powered by 100% regional green electricity. To achieve this, we rely on our strong partnership with supplier SWT. With almost 600,000 kilowatt-hours/year, labelletiquette.fr is the largest purchaser of regional green electricity from the solar park on the IRT Föhren industrial estate. This measure is part of the actions implemented to reduce emissions associated with our electricity consumption.
