Why has labelletiquette.fr changed?
Since 2016, labelletiquette.fr has been producing quality labels and supplying a wide range of sectors, from wine and cosmetics to chemicals and food supplements. As the market continues to grow, it’s time to evolve, optimize processes and take the next step into the future:
The future
For the final months of 2020 and into the future, the decision has been taken to further streamline our business by consolidating our European finance teams – including labelletiquette.fr – at our production site in Germany. As a result, labelletiquette.fr will be registered as a German company in Germany from December 1, 2020. These changes will also have an impact on the way we invoice and account for VAT.
How will labelletiquette.fr charge VAT from November 1, 2020?
How labelletiquette.fr calculates VAT depends on a number of factors. Here’s a guide to answer some of your questions about VAT invoicing. Please find below a table to give you an additional overview:

- Company registered for VAT in France; Shipment to billing address: Your company will be billed at 0% VAT.
- Company registered for VAT in France; Delivery to a third party: If the delivery address is in France, the EU or elsewhere in the world, 0% VAT will be applied.
- French company not registered for VAT: German VAT of 16% will be applied.
- Important: Due to the corona pandemic, this rate (reduced from 19% to 16%) was initially set until December 31, 2020. International companies, shipping to France: If you don’t have a VAT number, German VAT of 16% will be applied.

Will my order be delayed due to the changes?
No, there is no change to the existing ordering process, so there will be no delay.

Can I get a VAT refund?
If you are a VAT-registered company, you can apply for a VAT refund. If you are not registered for VAT with the tax authorities, you will probably not receive a refund.
