Hot foil stamping and blind embossing – What are the differences?
Hot foil stamping and blind embossing are two ways of ennobling your label and making your product stand out visually from the competition.

In hot foil stamping, a very thin film is printed onto the label using special foil stamping tools and heat. The result is a noble, shimmering, metallic look for elements such as lettering or logos. Hot foil stamping is available from labelletiquette.fr in matte or gloss, and in many different colors.

Blind embossing, on the other hand, is only appealing because it deforms the label’s paper backing, while hot foil embossing dispenses with metallic embossing. The label thus obtains a palpable relief on the printed image (relief embossing). Higher grammage materials lend themselves particularly well to this type of finishing. PP films are not suitable for embossing. This embossing can be enhanced with a protective gloss varnish.
